The 6th 4Seasons Vienna International Musician Competition - Autumn
is an online competition exclusively for musicians from all countries.
International classical music competition for KEYS (Piano, Accordion, organ) - STRINGS (violin, viola, cello, double-bass, harp, guitar) - WINDS (flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, french horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba, euphonium) - PERCUSSION - CHAMBER MUSIC - COMPOSITION
Three main prizes (1st, 2nd and 3rd place)
-Special prizes (Jury Special Prizes, Wiener Klassik Prize) and Honorable Mentions Prizes will be awarded.
-The Grand Prix Prize winner will receive a live performance opportunity at the Mozarthaus Vienna Concert Hall and a professional audio and video recording of the performance.

The Vienna Cultural Association, Culture Meeting Point Vienna (since 1995), in collaboration with Mozarthaus Vienna, is delighted to present the "4Seasons Vienna International Musician Competition. " This event welcomes participants from around the world to the heart of Europe – Vienna, a city with rich traditions, an exciting present, and a promising future as the world capital of music!
The primary objective of the competition, beyond the awarding of prizes, is to provide educational value. The competition is crafted to enable candidates from all corners of the globe to take part, and live performances offer participants exposure to a diverse audience. Videos featuring all finalists are documented on our website, and the announcement of award winners takes place on our social media platforms. The judging panels comprise instructors from the International Music Academy and distinguished guests.
Rules and Regulations
* The competition is open to musicians of all ages and nationalities.
* The repertoire can be freely chosen.
* The length of the performance in the video link is not limited. There is no minimum duration. If the recordings are short, they can be included in a single video link.
* The age of the applicant on November 30, 2024, will be taken into account when dividing into age groups.
* All the names of the winners will be published on our website on the dates mentioned in the announcement and on social media channels
* The official results will be announced by 19 December 2024 , on our website and our social media Addressee.
* In each category, the jury awards 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, special jury prizes and special mentions according to the participant's score.
* When making the payment, it is imperative to indicate the full NAME of the participant and the desired which INSTRUMENT competition.
* The recording shall be taken by one camera, showing the face and hands of the musician.
* The video link should be provided directly at the time of registration, be can also be via email up until the registration deadline for the specific competition.
* By registering, participants allow the organizer to freely dispose of the photo, audio and video recordings submitted to the competition for documentation and public relations on its website and social media.
* The judgment of the jury is final.
* Due to delays in the evaluation process by the competition jury committee, the organization reserves the right to change the dates provided for the announcement of the results.
* All award-winning participants will receive a certificate of achievement via email.
* Printed certificates can be sent by post upon request (additional ordering and shipping costs)
* All winners will be presented on the official website of the online competition, as well as on the social media of the competition organization.
(Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).
* Participants who have not received an award can request a certificate of participation by email. The certificate can be sent electronically for 23 euros.
* Teachers and accompanying persons can also receive certificates on request. It can be sent electronically for 23 euros.
* By participating in the competition, the participants agree to the possible publication and popularization of the submitted recordings and photos for advertising purposes. The organizers of the competition reserve the right to edit and crop photos of participants for publication (advertising) on the Internet.
* Once the application fee is paid it cannot be refunded under any circumstances and candidates agree to the terms and conditions of the competition.
Prize
* In each category, the jury awards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes, special jury prizes, and special mentions based on the participant's score.
* One winner selected by the jury members from all categories will be awarded the Grand Prize.
* The Grand Prix Prize winner will receive a live performance opportunity at the Mozarthaus Vienna Concert Hall and a professional audio and video recording of the performance.
Composition
* The composition must be written for a solo, duo, trio, quartet, or quintet and can include any classical instrument and any voice.
* Submissions should include both an MP3 recording and a PDF score. The recording can be live or MIDI.
* There is no minimum length requirement for the composition.
* The Grand Prix Prize-winning composition will be performed by musicians from the Wiener Stadtorchester at the Mozarthaus Concert Saal. Additionally, the winner will receive a professional audio and video recording of the performance.
Category and registration fee
A participation fee is 35 € for Solo
* Age category A: 18 years old and above
* Age category B: 14 - 17 years old
* Age category C: 10 - 13 years old
* Age category D: up to 9 years old
* Chamber Music: (on any ensemble configuration any instruments per musician with no age limit) participation fee per musician 30€)
* Composition: (The registration fee is 35 € per composition, with no age limit)

4- Artistic photo (with the name of the photographer)
5- Video links / for composition PDF Score and MP3 audio file.
